Today I heard a Bloomberg Radio interview today with the director of college recruiting at PricewaterhouseCoopers talk about the LinkedIn Career Explorer.  This tool allows users to explore career paths to be explored based on the 80+ million profiles in LinkedIn.  Initially the Career Explorer is available to students at 60 universities.  It is expected to be released to all universities in a couple months and then eventually to all LinkedIn users.

I am often asked what career paths lead to roles in new product development and innovation.  With the Career Explorer, we’ll have a new tool for exploring how others have moved into these roles.  I look forward to using this tool!  A video that describes the Career Explorer is below an at this link.
