I help product managers become Product Masters. After:
- working in product management for 25+ years;
- training hundreds of product managers at Microsoft, Kind Snacks, Level 3, Kohler, John Deer, J.D. Power, GHX, FedEx, Cummins, Compassion, Clorox, Cisco, Mastercard, SAIC, Thomson Reuters, Xerox, and many others;
- earning a PhD in Innovation; and
- conducting numerous workshops;
I created the Product Mastery Roadmap.
It shows how product managers anywhere can become product masters.
Product Masters create more successful products, gain influence throughout their organizations, and accelerate their careers.
I am certified by PDMA as a New Product Development Professional (NPDP) and credentialed by AIPMM as a Certified Innovation Leader (CIL), which he helped to create. He is respected by both organizations as an authoritative trainer and consultant for these certifications. I also earned and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI. My professional experiences have made me broadly skilled in many aspects of business but my focus is on new product development and innovation. My education includes a PhD in Innovation and MS and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering. I am a contributing author to the PDMA Toolbook 3 and a frequent speaker to innovation-related professional groups. I am also an instructor for product management and innovation management graduate courses at Boston University, Colorado State University, and Walden University.
