Study Group – The Best Way to Prepare

For years we have provided a very successful study group approach for the NPDP certification.  We refined and improved the study group approach with the Rocky Mountain PDMA chapter and other chapters — helping numerous people deepen their product development knowledge while enjoying interacting and networking with product professionals.

We consider this the very best way to learn the concepts that will help you stand out as a professional as well as earning the NPDP certification. The study group approach provides accountability and the insights of others’ experiences to learn and review key parts of the NPDP Body of Knowledge.

Resources Used:  Online presentations, practice quizzes, suggested readings, collaborative discussions, and real-time web conferences.

Time Required:  Depending on your experience with product development, expect two to five hours each week to review the materials, suggested readings, and to take the practice quizzes.  An additional two hours is needed to participate in the collaborative discussions and weekly web conference.  The web conference is scheduled by the participants in the study group to fit your schedule.

Still Not Sure?  We are a licensed and registered PDMA education provider.  We have used our study group approach for more years than anyone with PDMA chapters, improving the materials and process regularly.  Approximately 95% pass the certification exam the first time with 100% passing if a re-take is needed (self-reported data).  Our Self-Study Guide covers the key content on the NPDP exam while the practice questions help you review and reinforce your knowledge. If you don’t wish to use our approach, the alternative is to study the 20 textbooks and 7 journal articles on the PDMA reading list. Most people choose to use our approach instead — less reading and more confidence in your knowledge.
