I am excited to be attending and sponsoring RMPcamp, to be held in Denver, Colorado on Saturday, November 13th.  Several Product Camps have already occurred in large cities across the US with a similar format, including:

  1. Free:  The conference is absolutely free to participants.  The cost of the event, including lunch and giveaways for participants, is covered by sponsoring organizations.  Further, this is not a vendor-hall type conference – participants come to learn more about product development, not to shop.
  2. Un-Conference:  As an un-conference, participants themselves drive the topics to be discussed.  Topics can be suggested via the RMPCamp website and the topics receiving the most votes will be discussed at the conference.  Further, some topics will be chosen by participants during the conference.
  3. Engaging:  Participants themselves are highly involved in the conference.  While skilled facilitators and product development experts are involved, the conference is highly participatory.  This promotes learning and networking.

I highly suggest you try to attend a PCamp and if you are in Denver on November 13, please join us at the Auraria College campus.  Complete information is at:  RMPCamp.
